Position:  Secondary Virtual School Social Studies Teacher (5 hrs/wk)

Reports to: Director of Academic Services

Duration: Academic Year; Grant funded position

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Education

Valid Michigan Teacher Certification in content area (6-12)

Experience/skills with computer and computer software programs, such as Microsoft Office Suite, and student management systems.

Preferred: 

Previous remote learning classroom teaching experience in a comparable district.

Prefer certification in core area

Salary/Benefits:

Hourly rate $32.77; 180 days per year; Four (4) instructional hours per week and two (1) planning/grading hours per week.
