Role Overview
Portfolio Development Intern
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Portfolio Development Intern to support our product development and sourcing teams in organizing, tracking, and preparing physical and digital resources for upcoming collection launches. This role is a great opportunity for someone interested in the behind-the-scenes work of product creation, material sourcing, and collection planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Order samples from vendors and partners to support development and resourcing efforts.
- Track incoming and outgoing materials, ensuring accurate documentation and timely follow-up.
- Coordinate shipping and receiving of samples, swatches, and collection materials.
- Maintain and organize sample bins, ensuring all samples are correctly labeled and accessible.
- Assemble collection boards for internal presentations and milestone meetings.
- Update product and material information in relevant tracking systems and databases.
- Assist in prepping materials for resourcing approval meetings and new development presentations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth coordination of sampling needs and collection planning.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Product Development, Fashion Design, Textiles, Merchandising, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks with competing priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, not necessary but helpful: Smartsheets.
- Positive attitude and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule
- Three days a week, 10 am to 4 pm
