Construction Engineer | Aerotek Engineering

This position manages the construction of electrical, mechanical and structural work/systems associated with utility infrastructure, building and waterfront construction projects.

Position is responsible for performing contractor management, troubleshooting design or construction conflicts and provides solutions, performs project specific safety assessments/audits, quality control and quality inspection to design standards, preparation of startup and commissioning documents including checklists, operating procedures, and training for all assigned work.

Conducts construction surveillance to ensure adherence to contractual requirements. Investigates problems incurred during testing and operations, resolves problems and directs re-tests to ensure the satisfactory performance of the system.

Position also involves close coordination and management of multiple construction projects with multiple stakeholders, customers, maintenance, and operations personnel.
