Temporary Marketing Manager

Strategy and Execution – Content Marketing - Advertising - Social Media – Web – Video - Email Marketing

Salary: Commensurate w/experience

Temporary: 40 hours per week (3 to 4-month duration)

Location: East Windsor, NJ; Malvern, PA; or Remote

With a mission to improve patient care, we deliver information and education to healthcare professionals through 400+ global, regional, and local events and reach over 4 million users monthly through digital networks and social channels.

 

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled marketing professional to temporarily cover the duties of a Marketing Manager during maternity leave. This individual will step into a fast-paced, agency-style environment supporting multiple clients, campaigns, and cross-functional teams.

 

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy Development

  • Develop strategic marketing plans across a variety of healthcare/pharma-related campaigns and client accounts.

Tactic Creation & Execution

Own the development and QC of marketing tactics including:

  • Emails (e-Blasts, newsletters, drip campaigns)
  • Digital banners
  • Hello bars
  • Native ads
  • E-Newsletters
  • Website copy or landing page recommendations
  • Social media ad copy (if applicable)
  • Webinars and Virtual Events

Project & Budget Management

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously across different timelines, ensuring deliverables stay on track and within budget.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Work effectively with internal teams including creative, content, client services, and data/analytics to ensure cohesive execution of marketing plans.

Campaign Tracking & Optimization

  • Monitor campaign performance, track KPIs, and contribute to post-campaign reporting. Suggest optimizations to improve engagement and outcomes.

Goal-Oriented Execution

  • Ensure each campaign aligns with client goals and is delivered to spec, on time, and with measurable results.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Marketing Strategy Experience

  • Proven ability to build and implement multi-tactic marketing strategies, preferably within the healthcare space.

Tactical Development Proficiency

  • Strong skills in writing, reviewing, and launching a variety of digital marketing assets.

Organized and Detail-Oriented

  • Must be able to manage multiple complex projects without losing sight of critical details.

Strong Communication & Team Skills

  • Comfortable collaborating with internal stakeholders and communicating directly with clients when needed.

Analytical Mindset

  • Ability to interpret campaign data and make informed decisions or recommendations.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in an agency setting with concurrent campaigns and competing deadlines
  • Background in pharmaceutical/healthcare marketing
  • Familiarity with digital channels and tools (e.g., Ongage, HubSpot, BeeFree, Excel/Word, ad platforms, etc.)
  • Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Hive, Asana, Monday, etc.)
  • Exposure to regulated industries and experience working within legal/medical/regulatory review processes
