Dental Hygienist

Under the supervision of a dentist, perform services that help individuals maintain oral health; prevent oral diseases and provide counsel on preventive measures such as nutrition, oral hygiene, dental health and overall health.

• Perform dental hygiene procedures.
• Perform diagnostic radiographs. Obtains alginate impressions for diagnostic and/or intra-oral appliances.
• Perform administrative or clerical duties as assigned, including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.
• Maintain equipment and medical supplies in clean working order. Maintains examination areas in a clean, adequately stocked, and organized condition.

Requirements:

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Dental Hygienist credentialed from the Wisconsin Dentistry Examining Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's
  degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
