Position Summary:
The CSA Social Impact Fellowship is a competitive, high-impact internship experience for students and early-career professionals seeking to build real-world skills in social impact, leadership, and nonprofit strategy.
Fellows in the Marketing Track will support CSA’s storytelling, visibility, and digital presence across platforms. Interns rotate through a unique rhythm of 1 week of learning followed by 1 week of experience, continuing this cycle throughout the program. This model allows Fellows to build skills and immediately apply them in a real-world, mission-driven context.
This is a hands-on, virtual internship designed for individuals who are passionate about using creative communications to drive awareness and impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the creation and scheduling of content for CSA’s social media platforms
- Help draft newsletters, blog posts, and promotional copy for programs and events
- Design visual assets using Canva or similar tools (training provided)
- Contribute to brand strategy, voice, and storytelling efforts
- Track engagement metrics and suggest improvements based on performance
- Complete assigned learning modules and reflection tasks as part of the fellowship cycle
Qualifications:
- Interest in communications, digital marketing, or social impact storytelling
- Strong writing and/or design skills
- Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation tools
- Creative, collaborative, and detail-oriented
- Deep alignment with CSA’s mission and communication style
Commitment:
- Estimated commitment: 6–8 hours per week (virtual, flexible)
- 1-week learning / 1-week experience cycle throughout the term
- Participation in weekly virtual check-ins and project updates
