B2B Sales Intern (Full Time Fall Internship, NYC)

TL;DR

Want to be part of a startup that processes $1M+ in payments/year and 10x’d its volume in the past six months? Tadpole is hiring a Sales Intern to help scale our billing and scheduling software into tutoring centers and education orgs across the country.

 

We’re currently at $1.3M in processing volume, and we’re building a team to hit $5M+ by the end of winter.

 

This is a high-expectation, high-impact role, you’ll be part of a tight-knit 4-person team out in the field closing deals and earning commission. This is perfect for someone who values excellence in sales and marketing, thinks deeply about how to make connections with people and understand them, and wants to be part of a fast-moving, hard-working team.

 

In-person in NYC, 5 days/week (flexible weekdays or weekends, depending on sales flow) September - December.

What You’ll Do

  • Talk to and build relationships with customers — this involves in-person sales, cold calls, demos, and events.

 

  • Help build our sales and marketing engine from the ground up — that means working with the team to build out our CRM and lead tracking system, an outbound marketing system, and playbooks for cold calls, in person demos, conferences, etc 
     
  • Learn our product inside and out so you can confidently pitch it to tutoring centers and education orgs.
     
  • Travel — we’ll be visiting multiple businesses most days.

  • You love consuming sales and marketing content online — you’ve probably watched dozens of hours of Hormozi, cold email breakdowns, or sales videos on YouTube/Spotify.
     
  • You move fast and want your work to actually matter.

 

  • We support each other and work together, but you don’t need a baby sitter. You constantly take initiative, actively propose new ideas all the time, and just execute on stuff independently.

 

  • Bonus: You’ve done sales, retail, service industry, or feel like you have general people skills

 

  • You want to have fun and be part of a close team doing something both super cool and super hard.

 

Requirements

  • Must be in New York City, available to work in person 5 days/week, September - December, and able to travel a lot 
     
  • Organized, reliable, and can keep track of leads and follow-ups

 

  • Bonus: Familiarity with CRMs, sales tools, or interest in startups/edtech
