Position: Elementary Climate Specialist (Bilingual)

Requirements:
Associate's degree or min of 60 college credits
Experience in working with at-risk youth in an urban, multicultural community
Experience with customer service or interpersonal services
Criminal History background check
Successful recommendation resources
Pre-employment physical may be required
Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in education or human services
Multiple years of experience working with at-risk students in a school setting
Bilingual English/Spanish with oral and written language fluency in both languages.
Qualifications:
Excellent organizational skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Extensive training/experience in relevant youth work.
Demonstrated soft skills as an employee:
--High percentage of attendance
--Punctual
--Positive reviews of past performance
--Positive and respectful attitude and conduct toward all people
Availability to work outside of the school day.
Ability to use technology as it applies to the performance of duties.

Salary/Benefits:
Commensurate with credentials and level of experience and in accordance with MPS salary schedule. Full time 40 hours/week. Starting range: $39,412.00-$58,503.00.
