Pre-K Teacher at Carver Early Learning Center

Salary:

• $63,000-$84,840
• $2500 Sign-On Stipend to be paid in October, if hired by September 30th.

Work Duration:

• 183 Days
• 7.5 Hours/Day
• 9 Months

Responsibilities:

• Setting rigorous yet appropriate learning outcomes
• Establish supportive relationships with students
• Engage students in meaningful, developmentally appropriate, real world discussions and learning activities
• Develop authentic and aligned assessments to measure student growth and inform instructional decisions
• Collaboratively work with teams to fulfill the mission, vision and beliefs of both the school and the district
• Serve as an ambassador of St. Charles Parish Public Schools through all forms of professional communication

Certification Requirements:

• Bachelor of Arts or Science degree
• Louisiana teaching certificate with certification in PK-3
• Type A, B or C -  or -  Level 1, 2 or 3
• Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with all stakeholders

District Support & Commitment:

• Participation in professional development and on-boarding sessions
• Assignment of a school-based mentor for multi-year support, coaching and orientation
• Support from district Instructional Technology Coaches & curriculum leaders and facilitators
