Are you a driven student with a passion for civic engagement, nonprofit work, strategic partnerships, or alumni outreach? ACE is seeking one Alumni Engagement Intern to join our team for the Fall 2025 cycle. Our alumni engagement intern is responsible for refining our alumni database, performing alumni outreach tasks, creating a monthly alumni newsletter, and organizing 2-3 alumni events throughout the cycle. ACE’s Alumni Engagement Interns are an essential part of growing our network to enhance our mission of civically engaging young voters through accessible, nuanced, and nonpartisan policy information.
The Fall 2025 cycle runs from September 8th through December 5th, with a week-long break beginning on November 24th.
This position requires an estimated 10-15 hours per week
- 1 hour: Participating in weekly check-in meeting
- 9-14 hours: Alumni engagement tasks (designing HubSpot newsletter, alumni outreach, event planning, etc.)
Desired Skills:
- Prior experience in strategic outreach, event planning, newsletter design, or related work
- Organized, self-motivated, and able to work with limited supervision
- Prior experience in policy research & analysis a plus
- Knowledge of HubSpot a plus

ACE Interns have gone on to earn nationally competitive fellowships, work at top think tanks and government agencies, and attend premier public policy, international affairs, and public administration graduate programs.
Location: This position is a remote role that can be undertaken remotely from anywhere in the U.S. with a reliable internet connection.
Academic Credit: This internship can be undertaken for academic credit. Some educational institutions require prior approval before the start of an internship. It is the responsibility of the student to check with their institution to be sure they meet any requirements before they accept a position. The Director of Policy will communicate with universities to advocate on behalf of academic credit for Interns if requested.
