Ultrasound Technologist
Sampson Regional Medical Center is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist to join the Radiology team!
Description:
The selected applicant will provide health care related imaging services to patients of all ages through the use of ultrasonic recording in the areas of OB/GYN, general abdomen, vascular system and small parts. These recordings assist the Radiologist in the diagnosis of disease processes. The Ultrasound Technologist duties are performed within the framework of Sampson Regional Medical Center policies and procedures and current professional standards. The Ultrasound Technologist will be trained to perform Bone dexa scans, as needed.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Training program.
- Registry with ARRT in Sonography or ARDMS in SPI and one other specialty.
- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) by ARDMS preferred; Will be required within 12 months of employment.
Hours:
This is a full-time position working 32-36 hours per week. Will have a rotating schedule between the hospital and Outpatient Diagnostic Center, working both 12-hour and 8-hour shifts. Will require 1:5 weekend rotation and 1:6 on-call rotation.
