JOB TITLE: Intern - Power Marketing - Marketing

DEPARTMENT: Evergy Energy Partners – Topeka General Office or Kansas City Headquarters

LOCATION: Topeka, KS

                              Kansas City, MO

PAY RANGE: $19.00 - $23.00 / Hour

 

Internship Position for Summer 2026.

 

Scheduled Work Hours: Summer: Monday–Friday, 7am–4pm, full time. The hybrid role generally requires three days in-office and two remote; up to five in-office days may be needed for business needs.

Intern Description:

As a vital member of the Evergy Energy Partners team, the Power Marketing - Marketing Intern will play an integral role in advancing the company’s B2B marketing strategy across diverse channels. This position offers the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to content development, campaign implementation, and the dynamic management of digital platforms, all while building valuable, hands-on experience in a collaborative environment.

 

Job tasks include but not limited to:

  • Digital Marketing & CRM: HubSpot CRM, SEO, LinkedIn Campaigns
  • Content & Web Management: Website, Blog, Case Studies, Content Management
  • Communications & Events: Internal/External Communications, Event Planning

 

Education and Experience Requirements:

Candidates should be pursuing or have recently earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Required:

  • Experience with Adobe Software
  • Familiarity with CRM Platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar
  • Proficiency with LinkedIn Campaign Manager
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, niche environment that demands adaptability and quick problem-solving

 

 

 

Working Conditions:

Hybrid work environment based in the Topeka office. May require occasional in-office presence for events and meetings.
