Operations and Logistics Intern

Position Responsibilities:

The role will focus on scheduling and task logging with goal orientated directions, for the aim of supporting the growth of our History tour and special experiences.

The unique nature of the business and experiences we work on require adaptability to learn new skills, which will be provided and taught as a part of your role. The immersive nature of the tour lends not only itself to the dynamics of theatrical arts but due to the nature of the depth of history and research for each experience means that we cross many disciplines, History, Anthropology, Geography, Linguistics & Etymology, Biology, Sociology, politics, Law and more.

Role Responsibilities may include:

• Business Development to establish new clients and customers
• Maintaining day to day admin, and ensuring that progress remains on track to grow the company
• Historic Research
• Marketing
• Logistical planning of tours

This is a unique opportunity to work with one the most highly rated experiences in London and the only one of its kind in the entire country, beyond that however the director will be allocating time separate to your work to teach you skills in the trade in lesson formats, strategies, systems currently used by the industry as well as insider knowledge with over 15 years experience working in one of the most competitive  and premium markets on the planet.

On-site Supervision and Support
Our internships include 24/7 on-site staff to support students working and living abroad. All students will also report to a supervisor at their internship site. Supervisors provide and oversee daily tasks, introduce the intern to team members, and mentor the intern in organizational agility, skill acquisition, and career readiness. Interns complete a midpoint and final evaluation, and supervisors complete a final evaluation of their interns. All work responsibilities and projects are approved in advance.

Academic Credit
Students on an internship have the opportunity to enroll in their home university for credit, or enroll in a course through API to transfer back to their university for credit. Email support-internships@apiexperience.com for more information and a syllabus.
