We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Video Editing and Content Creation Intern to join our dynamic team. • Location: Remote
• Job Type: Unpaid Internship Program, Hybrid Position (mix of remote and onsite)
• Duration: 3-6 months
• Disclaimer: This is an unpaid internship/co-op placement opportunity designed for students requiring coop hours to graduate from their programs.
• We provide services to almost any industry, but the majority of our clients come from the following sectors: entertainment, hospitality, events, marketing, real estate, cleaning, dental, medical, children education and law.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in creating and editing engaging video content for various platforms, including social media, websites, and marketing campaigns.
• Collaborate with the creative, sales and marketing team to develop innovative video concepts and storyboards.
• Participate in on-site video shoots, including setting up equipment, recording footage, and directing scenes.
• Record yourself showcasing products, conducting trainings, or creating promotional content to highlight brand offerings.
• Ensure all video content aligns with brand guidelines and maintains high-quality standards.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to contribute fresh ideas and perspectives.
• Manage and organize video assets, ensuring efficient workflow and file management.
• Stay updated on the latest video editing trends, techniques, and tools.
• Support the creation of multimedia content, including graphics, animations, and short-form videos.
• Assist with writing and editing content for blogs, social media, and other digital platforms.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Film, Media, Communications, or a related field.
• Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects).
• Basic knowledge of graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator) is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for visual aesthetics.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• A portfolio showcasing previous video editing and content creation projects is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and content trends.
