Listed within this posting is the anticipated salary range for this position, plus variable incentive compensation. The final salary offered to a successful candidate may vary and will be dependent on several factors that include, but are not limited to, your business experience, education, and individual capacity. THE OPPORTUNITY:
This position is for students currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, pursuing career opportunities in Information Technology (IT) over the summer of 2026. The IT intern may engage in querying databases, interviewing IT staff, and project management. The IT Intern will be part of the application development group, will analyze and document processes and data related to software development best practices, and will provide real world insights and contributions to the department.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Analyze data and create visualizations using tools like Power BI to communicate findings
- Review processes and present recommendations for improvement
- Write SQL queries to gather and analyze data
- Collaborate with cross-functional team members
- Coordinate between team members as a project manager
- Perform other duties or special projects as assigned by a supervisor
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university preferably in an information technology related field of study such as computer science, information science, computer engineering, or software engineering
WHO YOU ARE:
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle methodologies including analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance
- Knowledge of database structure, schema design, and application development concepts
- Familiarity with workflow management systems like Azure DevOps or Jira
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines; high energy, self-motivated and proactive
- Excellent collaboration, communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask, and be flexible with workload and assignments
- Ability to exercise judgment
