
Stokes Educational Scholarship Program STEM
The National Security Agency (NSA) is currently accepting applications from across the country for the Stokes Educational Scholarship Program. This tuition assistance program is looking for high school seniors who are interested in pursuing degrees in Computer Science, Mathematics, Cybersecurity, and Computer or Electrical Engineering.
This program provides a tremendous opportunity to gain valuable experience in STEM opportunities around the agency and an annual salary. Selected participants will also receive up to $30,000 for tuition and mandatory educational fees per academic year.
Eligible students that is traveling over 75 miles from school to NSA, will receive housing and travel benefits while working at NSA during the summer. A position in the Stokes Educational Scholarship Program means you will attend classes full-time at the college of your choice in the U.S., and then work during the summer at NSA for a minimum of 12 weeks in areas that are related to your course of study.
If you are selected as a program participant, you are required to work in your area of study at NSA after your college graduation for at least one-and-a-half times your length of study. If you resign from the Stokes Educational program prior to satisfying your commitment, you will be required to pay back the government for your tuition and mandatory educational fees. Students accepted into the program must maintain at least a 2.75 GPA on a 4.0 scale each semester/quarter in the freshman year and a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale each semester/quarter after the freshman year.
