Job Overview
Impact Advisors is seeking a dynamic and motivated Strategy & Operations Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting healthcare organizations through process improvement and technology-driven initiatives. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to client success, drive positive patient outcomes, and make a meaningful impact on the healthcare industry.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project teams to support healthcare leaders, clinicians, and staff in identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency, financial performance, and patient outcomes.
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative research, including data analysis, benchmarking, and industry research, to inform client recommendations.
- Support the development of client-facing deliverables such as presentations, reports, dashboards, and process documentation.
- Engage with healthcare and consulting professionals at all levels through interviews, workshops, and meetings to gather insights and validate solutions.
- Assist in project management activities such as developing workplans, tracking milestones, and preparing status updates for clients and internal leadership.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of firm methodologies, tools, and knowledge capital by capturing lessons learned and standardizing best practices.
- Participate in internal initiatives including business development support, thought leadership development, and practice growth efforts.
- Demonstrate commitment to personal and professional growth by seeking feedback, leveraging coaching relationships, and pursuing professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Anticipated Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (preferred majors: Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Public Health, General Business). Graduation date: May 2026.
- Previous experience working or volunteering in a healthcare setting.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure and break down complex issues.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present findings clearly and concisely.
- Collaborative team player who thrives in fast-paced, client-facing environments.
Adaptable and flexible in managing multiple priorities and shifting client needs. - Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other analytical tools to support data-driven decision making.
- Ability to conduct research, synthesize information, and generate insights to support strategy development.
- Professional presence with strong interpersonal skills to build relationships and credibility with clients.
- Self-starter who demonstrates initiative, intellectual curiosity, and a commitment to continuous learning.

Additional Information
- Travel: Up to 80% nationwide travel required
- Work Schedule: Full time, August 2026 start
- Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the US, visa sponsorship not supported
- Location: Based in or willing to relocate to the Chicago area.
At Impact Advisors, we are committed to transparency and equity in our compensation practices. The compensation for this role includes a salary range of $75,000 to $82,000 For salaried positions, this role may also be eligible for an annual performance bonus. Additional benefits and perks may also be available, depending on the position and employment terms.
This range reflects consideration of several factors, including skills, experience, training, certifications, and organizational needs.
