What you’ll do
- Gain valuable experience in a large, global organization that will strengthen your resume for future roles, including opportunities at Big 4 firms. As a State & Local Tax Intern, you will:
- Assist in preparing responses and managing various state and local tax audits and notices.
- Support internal tax payment processes across multiple jurisdictions.
- Calculate estimated tax payments and file extensions in compliance with regulatory deadlines.
- Collaborate with tax professionals in both the Manila, Philippines and Rocky Hill, CT offices.
- Gain exposure to real-world tax operations and cross-functional teamwork in a corporate environmen
What makes you a good fit
- An undergraduate (junior/senior), master’s / graduate student or MBA student pursuing a degree in Accounting
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and tax calculations
- Strong interest in pursuing a career as a CPA or tax professional
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills

Following your internship, you may be invited to join Henkel as a returning intern or full-time employee.
Additional information
- This internship is NOT eligible for a housing stipend or relocation support.
- The anticipated start date for this internship is March 15, 2026, and the anticipated end date is November 15, 2026.
- This position requires you to be available to work ~20-40 hours/week.
- Recruitment for our 2026 internships starts in late August 2025 and runs through early March 2026 or until all our positions are filled.

The salary for this role is $22-$27/hour. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
