  • Broad knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes such as casting, forging, stamping, injection molding, welding, tube bending, and hydroforming.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Create

  • Collaborate with Product Marketing and Industrial Design to define product specifications using consumer research, market data, and feedback from sales teams.
  • Analyze competitive products and warranty data to benchmark and inform new design approaches.
  • Conduct high-level feasibility assessments of initial product concepts.

Refine

  • Develop and refine product concepts using 3D modeling software (Creo), FEA, and CFD tools.
  • Utilize our advanced prototyping and test lab facilities to create and validate physical prototypes.
  • Apply tools such as DFMEA and design critiques to proactively address and mitigate potential failure modes.
  • Partner with internal manufacturing teams and external suppliers to optimize cost, performance, quality, and timing.

Implement

  • Perform engineering calculations, tolerance analysis, and develop detailed technical drawings incorporating engineering standards and GD&T.
  • Optimize designs for manufacturing efficiency and reliability using DfM principles.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance by developing thorough test plans for product verification.
  • Support manufacturing ramp-up by providing hands-on assistance during pre-production builds.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an ABET-accredited institution in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical preferred), or a related technical discipline, earned by June 2026.
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of CAD modeling.
  • Hands-on fabrication and prototyping skills.
  • Intern and/or co-op experience exhibiting these skills.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship on an on-going basis
