Digital Asset Intern | Spring 2026

Essential Functions & Primary Duties

  • Assist with research on cryptocurrency markets, blockchain protocols, and emerging digital asset trends
  • Support the team in reviewing and documenting internal controls over digital asset management, including private key security
  • Help evaluate the auditability of various cryptocurrencies and digital assets by collecting, organizing, and analyzing data
  • Prepare draft workpapers and summaries for senior analysts to review during digital asset audits and consulting engagements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support audit readiness, testing procedures, and client deliverables related to digital assets
  • Develop and maintain an excellent working relationship with all levels of client staff to increase customer satisfaction and to strengthen client relationships
  • Pledge to provide exceptional service to every client by providing individual attention, responsiveness and commitment to understanding their goals and needs
  • Participate in client assignments from beginning to end
  • Maintain and comply with the highest degree of professional standards, client confidentiality and personal conduct 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Pursuing a degree in Accounting or a related field preferred
  • Interest in blockchain, digital assets, and emerging technologies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Familiarity with cryptocurrency exchanges, wallets, or blockchain explorers is a plus
  • Active participation in student organizations or work experience in accounting, cybersecurity, or a related field is a plus, but not required

Minimum Qualifications

  • Working towards a Bachelor's degree
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, research and audit project management skills, including basic knowledge of GAAP, Taxation compliance, codes and regulations and GAAS rules, procedures and standards
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
  • Ability to multi-task, think independently and problem solve in a results driven team oriented environment
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong computer and technical skills including, Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, intranet and tax/audit software

Compensation

The hourly rate for this job in this market is $20-$40. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
