Installer
Life Style Staffing is looking for an Installer in the Sauk region for a growing company in Baraboo.
Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Installing awnings according to provided blueprints/measurements
- Safely & efficiently assembling/mounting awning frames, brackets, and mechanisms
- Installing fabric, ensuring proper tension, alignment, and attachment to frame
- Performing routine maintenance tasks
- Reviewing work orders, project plans, & specs to determine materials, tools, & equipment needed per project
- Measure & mark installation locations, considering factors such as building structure, clearance requirements, & aesthetic considerations
- Coordinating w/ clients to schedule installations, provide estimates, & address any questions or concerns
- Ensure awnings are installed securely & in accordance w/ industry standards & safety regulations
- Conduct thorough inspections of completed projects to verify quality & address any issues or deficiencies
- Test awning functionality, including retractability, motor operation, & weather resistance, to ensure customer satisfaction
- Interact professionally w/ clients & address any inquiries, concerns, or special requests they may have.
Ideal candidates will be organized, self-motivated, and work well with a team. They will have a sense of professionalism and skills to work face-to-face with customers
Experience with a forklift or similar machines would be beneficial. Candidates must be comfortable on ladders or man basket lifts, without a fear of heights preferably. Basic computer skills would also be beneficial.
A valid driver's license and clean driving record is required.
This position starts between $25-30/hour based on experience.
*Important to note: there will be a considerable amount of travel involved in this position.
