Position Title: Sports Startup MBA Finance Intern (Paid Internship)

Position Overview
BASE Sports Group is seeking a highly motivated MBA student for a paid, part-time internship focused on finance and investor relations. This role provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience working directly with the CEO on strategic financial initiatives.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain financial models to support business planning and growth initiatives
  • Conduct financial and market analysis to inform strategic decisions
  • Support investor relations activities, including drafting materials and preparing reports
  • Assist in developing and refining investor pitch presentations
  • Provide input on financial reporting and operational efficiency
  • (Preferred) Assist with bookkeeping and financial reporting in QuickBooks

Qualifications

  • Current MBA student with a concentration or strong interest in finance, accounting, or related field
  • Strong analytical, financial modeling, and quantitative skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Experience with QuickBooks or similar financial software is a plus
  • Self-starter comfortable working remotely with limited supervision

Compensation

  • Paid internship, hourly rate based on experience

Reporting Structure

  • Reports directly to the CEO of BASE Sports Group
