2026 Summer Intern, Salesforce Developer

ICF is seeking a motivated 2026 Summer Intern, Salesforce Developer to join our growing Salesforce team. 

This is an entry-level, 10-week, full-time internship expected to begin in June and end in August. Work will be remote from anywhere in the United States. Pay is expected to be $23 per hour. At this time, we are unable to provide housing nor relocation assistance for this position.  ​ 

What You Will Do: 

  • Assist in designing, developing, and configuring Salesforce-based solutions using low-code/no-code tools and custom code (e.g., Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components) under the guidance of senior team members. 
  • Assist Business Analysts with collecting requirements and building user stories, workflows, and system features.   
  • Assist in writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code adhering to Salesforce best practices. 
  • Help create technical documentation for project deliverables. 
  • Support testing and training activities. 

  

Basic Qualifications: 

  • By start date, a minimum of 30 completed college-level credit hours is required preferably in computer science, Information Technology, or related field 
  •  Candidate must be a US citizen, reside in the U.S., be authorized to work in the U.S., and all work must be performed in the U.S. 

  

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Familiarity with Salesforce and/or other Low Code platforms (ServiceNow, Microsoft, Appian) 
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification or Platform App Builder Certification (or actively pursuing) 
  • Hands-on experience in software development, with exposure to Salesforce 
  • Custom coding experience (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components) 
  • Understanding of Agile development methodologies, including tools (i.e., Jira, Confluence) 
  • Experience with external integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, or ETL tools. 
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and federal stakeholders. 
  • Demonstrated critical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to produce polished and well-organized written deliverables. 
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize and multi-task.
