Must be currently enrolled in an accredited two or four year college or university; or at a technical school taking college level courses. Successful completion of criminal history background investigation is required prior to employment. **UNDERGRADUATE STUDENT $18.00/HOUR** **GRADUATE STUDENT $18.50/HOUR**
Position Summary:
The Intern will be responsible for assisting the Commissioner in District Three with official tasks and delegated County business. Duties include conducting research and developing public policy at the direction of the Commissioner, may coordinate logistics for public engagement, and drafting correspondence on behalf of the commissioner both internally as well as for the purpose of addressing constituent inquiries and other external matters. The intern may also attend external meetings on behalf of the Commissioner.
