Job Summary:
The Speech & Hearing Center is looking for an occupational therapist to provide comprehensive best practice treatments to patients in a pediatric outpatient setting.
Qualifications:
• Master's degree in occupational therapy
• Current licensure in Tennessee/ Georgia a plus, must be able to obtain.
• Exceptional patient service skills and ability to demonstrate clinical excellence
• Solid computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office business suite and ability to navigate practice management software
• Connection to the mission of serving those with communication disorders ideal
Job Responsibilities Include:
• Documentation, meetings, scheduling and billing related to patient caseload
• Patient family education
• Contribute to positive relationships within therapy team and Center
• Work with other therapists on skill development and patient needs
• Stay current on industry trends, best practices and market competition
• Assist in developing policies and procedure related to clinical issues and needs
• Provide clinical guidance to management, as needed
• Provide input as part of a multidisciplinary approach, as needed
• Represent Center at community outreach events to propel mission, as needed
