
Health Contracts Operations Associate

Fellowship Program Position: This Fellowship Program position is a full-time, temporary, limited term assignment not to exceed three years from the date of hire. It is intended for individuals that have graduated with a bachelor's degree or master's degree from an accredited college or university within the last 12 months.
The Health Contracts Operations Associate is responsible for supporting contract services activities. The incumbent will assist with management of vendor information in complex automated accounting and contract administration systems, assist with conducting data analysis on contract metrics, and provide general operational support. This position will proactively work with Health division staff, agency employees, and health care vendors.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Business Operational Support
• Reviews TRS-Care and TRS-ActiveCare invoices for accuracy and contract compliance and routes for approvals.
• Tracks and reports payments to all health care vendors.
• Assists with contract administration tracking, record keeping, and reporting.
• Assists senior staff with process improvement.
• Assists with developing and maintaining procedures and guidelines.
Research and Data Analysis
• Researches, compiles, maintains and analyzes data and metrics in charts, graphs and databases, and prepares summaries or reports.
• Prepares regularly scheduled and ad hoc reports
• Reviews and validates reports on health plan performance.
• Researches, recommends, and implements methodologies for reporting contract-related data and key performance indicators.
• Analyzes data for reports, briefings, and presentations.
• Assists with presenting data driven insights to cross functional teams and leadership.
• Assists with creating presentations and reports for leadership and stakeholders.
Fellowship Program
• Participates in trainings and projects related to the TRS Fellowship Program including webinars, quarterly check-ins, classes or other learning activities, book group, projects and the mentoring program.
• Meets TRS Fellowship Program deadlines and goals for completion of trainings in deliverables in a timely manner
• Performs related work as assigned.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING:
Required Education
• Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited college or university in health information management, health care administration, public health, statistics, finance, accounting, business or a closely related field.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of:
• General knowledge of office practices and administrative procedures.
• Verbal and written communication of complex information that is accurate, timely, and based on sound judgment.
• Reviewing documentation; properly applying complex laws, regulations, rules, and policies; and making decisions based on sound judgment.
• MS Office products, PowerBI or other data dashboard software.
Skills in:
• Managing projects, including planning, organizing, and prioritizing work assignments to manage a high-volume workload in a fast-paced and changing environment.
• Interpreting and applying complex laws, contracts, regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Completing detailed work with a high degree of accuracy.
