Customer Service Specialist (Seasonal)- A.D. STARR

A.D. STARR is a company owned by DICK’s Sporting Goods. The Customer Service Specialist will support all aspects of the front office of the business, including answering incoming calls, providing general customer support, assisting with order/data entry and assisting the finance team with daily functions.

 

Role Responsibilities:

  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service that drives satisfaction and loyalty in a fast paced, metric driven environment, based on Quality of interactions and efficiency:

 

  • Provide customer service and data entry for customers that contact the business by PHONE
  • Identify Existing vs. NEW customer
    • Update customer details / validate all required information has been obtained
    • Confirm existing customer details, updating any required changes
  • Connect customer to specific sales rep (upon request), assigned the customer to a new sales rep, or execute a re-order – based on the needs of the customer
  • Collect call-back information if unable to service or pass along to a sales rep
  • Service WALK-IN customers
  • Service customers who visit the WHSE to place or pick-up orders
  • Support the Sales Team
    • Product inquiries: pricing, availability, shipping charges, etc.
    • Order taking: Re-orders / web orders / etc.
  • Support the Finance Team
    • Assist the Accounting Coordinator with invoice data entry as needed
    • Assist  the Accounts Receivable Coordinator with invoice distribution as needed
  • Expected to assist other areas (uniform production team, warehouse team, etc.) of the  business as needed.

 

**Please note this role is seasonal and approximately 16 weeks

AD STARR business hours are Monday – Friday 8A to 5P

Weekends not required.

 

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • <1 year of customer service, help desk, or related experience (retail oriented)
