Examples of Responsibilities determined by assignment/interests:
Project Safety
- Assist with conducting project specific safety orientations, Tool Box Talks and all safety related meetings for all team members associated with work on the project
- Assist with pre job planning, auditing the process, and providing feedback for improvement
- Assist in conducting incident investigations and submitting reports
- Assist with documenting project safety program; including all accidents, safety violations, unsafe conditions/activities.
Requirements:
- Enrollment in Occupational Health + Safety, Construction Management, Engineering or other relevant degree program
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Leadership experience among peers (student organizations, athletics, volunteerism...etc.)
- Junior/Senior level students must have prior Construction industry internship experience, Freshmen and Sophomore students welcome to apply!
- Must have reliable transportation and willingness to travel.
*This is a 12+ week paid internship for the summer, generally starting in Mid-May and ending in Mid-August.
*Students required to relocate will be compensated with subsistence or provided lodging.
Will be placed on site full time at Barton Malow Project. Make it flexible where intern may need to travel and Company will cover travel.
