Student Helpers is looking for a creative and motivated Social Media Intern to help drive student signups and brand awareness through TikTok and Instagram.
As an intern, you’ll create engaging content that highlights the value of Student Helpers to college students, increasing our visibility and fostering community engagement. This is a great opportunity for students passionate about social media marketing and looking to gain hands-on experience in brand promotion.
Responsibilities
• Create and post engaging TikToks and Instagram content (stories, reels, and posts) aimed at driving student signups and increasing brand awareness.
• Work with the CMO to create, run, and optimize paid campaigns on socials.
• Stay up to date with trending social media challenges, formats, and strategies to keep content fresh and relevant.
• Engage with followers by responding to comments and messages on Instagram/TikTok.
• Collaborate with the Student Helpers team to align social media content with company goals and marketing strategies.
• Track and report on the performance of social media posts to optimize future content.

Qualifications
• Current college student or recent grad with a strong understanding of social media platforms (especially Instagram and TikTok).
• Creative, self-starter with the ability to produce engaging and original content.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with social media trends, video editing, and content creation tools.
• Previous experience creating content for social media (personal or professional) is a plus, but not required.
• Passionate about student outreach, brand marketing, and engaging with online communities.
