Graphic Design & Content Imaging Intern (Remove / Flexible)
About Us
Easy Event Planning (EEP LLC) is launching the first-ever U.S. idea marketplace for party items, in partnership with Amazon, Etsy, and Oriental Trading. For 20 years, we’ve helped students gain real-world skills in a supportive virtual environment — leading to hires at Fortune 500 companies and top SEO agencies.
Help us create fast, clean hero images for event guides seen by thousands of readers. You’ll learn real, resume-ready workflows used by marketing teams every day: stock sourcing, layout, mobile readability, and web performance/SEO optimization.
What you’ll do
- Design featured blog hero images (16:9) with readable title bands and consistent brand styling.
- Source licensed visuals from Envato Elements using smart filters (theme fit, title-safe negative space).
- Edit for the web: crop/compose, subtle overlay for contrast, Montserrat typography, export with presets.
- Optimize for performance & SEO: PNG 1600×900, ≤300 KB, sRGB, stripped metadata, natural alt text, consistent file naming.
- Apply brand consistency across images (logo placement, padding, type scale).
- If time allows, we may also explore creating downloadble e-books and you'd get to provide design/layout suggestions.
What you’ll learn
- Production-style Photoshop or Photopea workflows (Save for Web, PNG-8, metadata stripping).
- Performance design: balancing image quality with page speed and accessibility (contrast, alt text).
- Optional Figma templates for fast, uniform layout; optional AI helpers (e.g., generative expand) used responsibly with licensed stock.
An eye for clean layouts, typography, spacing, and composition.
Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable following a style guide.
Starter experience in Photoshop/Photopea or Figma is helpful; eagerness to learn matters most.
What We’re Looking For
Creative, detail-oriented students with an eye for strong visuals and a willingness to learn design tools and web optimization techniques.
