About the Role

We are looking for a Manual QA Specialist to join our Quality Assurance team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our development team to ensure that new and existing features meet the highest quality standards before release.

This position focuses primarily on manual testing, particularly regression and functional testing, while providing opportunities to gradually learn and contribute to automated testing using Python and Selenium. It’s a great opportunity to develop a deep understanding of our product and processes while playing a key role in maintaining quality for our growing platform.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough manual testing of new features, enhancements, and bug fixes.

Conduct comprehensive regression testing for major product releases.

Identify, document, and track bugs through resolution using Jira.

Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to clarify requirements and reproduce reported issues.

Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to ensure QA coverage across all development activities.

Contribute to test case creation, maintenance, and documentation of QA processes.

(Optional) Assist with light automation tasks as you grow into the role.

Requirements

Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

Experience in manual testing of web applications.

Familiarity with Python or an interest in learning it for future automation.

Basic knowledge of relational databases and ability to interpret data schemas.

Comfortable using Git for version control.

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Excellent attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency with QA tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar systems.

Nice to Have

Experience with Django-based applications.

Exposure to Selenium or other test automation frameworks.

Understanding of CI/CD concepts and pipelines.
