Athlete Representative intern

Based on your skills and goals, you will be given an interview to review the following tentative tasks:

• Marketing:Assist in creating and implementing marketing strategies to enhance the visibility of our athletes and agency.
• Customer Acquisition and Care:Build and maintain relationships with athletes, clubs, and stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction.
• Scouting:Observe and analyze the performance of players in various competitions using metrics and statistics to identify talent and support decision-making processes.
• Social Media Management:Manage and grow the agency’s and athletes’ social media presence, creating engaging content and promoting brand identity.
• Business Planning:Collaborate in developing a comprehensive business plan that aligns with the agency’s goals and vision.
• Networking:Attend events, matches, and meetings to establish connections with industry professionals and expand the agency’s reach.
• Report Creation:Prepare detailed reports on athlete performance, market trends, and potential opportunities for the agency and its clients.

ADDITIONAL BENEFITS

On-site Supervision and Support

Our internships include 24/7 on-site staff to support students working and living abroad. All students will also report to a supervisor at their internship site. Supervisors provide and oversee daily tasks, introduce the intern to team members, and mentor the intern in organizational agility, skill acquisition, and career readiness. Interns complete a midpoint and final evaluation, and supervisors complete a final evaluation of their interns. All work responsibilities and projects are approved in advance. 
 

Academic Credit

Students on an internship have the opportunity to enroll in their home university for credit, or enroll in a course through API to transfer back to their university for credit. Email support-internships@apiexperience.com for more information and a syllabus.

Housing and excursions are included in your internship and will be selectable during the application process.
