Public Health Scholar

This 8-week summer program is designed for undergraduate students and recent graduates to explore the field of public health. The 2026 program will run from June 21 to August 15. Scholars will receive a $4,000 stipend, housing, and a meal plan.
Eligibility:
- Education - must meet one of the following by the start of the program
- Undergrad entering year 3 or above
- Transfer or community college graduate
- Recent grad from Fall 2025 - Spring 2026 who hasn’t been accepted into a grad program
- Additional criteria - must meet and have proof of all of the following:
- U.S. Citizen, National or Resident (DACA eligible)
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Attend U.S. or U.S. territory institution
- There is no GPA requirement
- You have not participated in another CDC Lewis Scholars Program
