Social Media & Content Intern (Client: Jess Pies)

Jess Pies is a modern dessert brand built on joy, creativity, and community connection. Known for its handcrafted pies and “mini moments that matter,” Jess Pies is reimagining the bakery experience; blending hospitality, storytelling, and digital engagement to grow a loyal online following.

Strat House Consulting partners with Jess Pies to provide strategic marketing and brand development support. This internship offers students a chance to work directly with a growing brand while gaining real-world experience in digital marketing, content strategy, and creative storytelling.

About the Role

As a Social Media & Content Intern, you’ll play a key role in shaping the digital voice of Jess Pies. You’ll help repurpose, schedule, and launch social media campaigns that bring the brand’s personality and products to life — while learning how marketing strategy turns into execution.

This is a fully remote internship, ideal for students interested in marketing, communications, or creative media who want hands-on experience managing a real brand presence.

Key Responsibilities

Repurpose existing photo and video assets into engaging Reels, TikToks, and posts.

Highlight the people and stories behind the pies through creative social content.

Build buzz for seasonal promotions and limited-time offers 

Schedule and automate posts using approved tools (e.g., Meta Suite, Later, or Canva).

Provide creative direction on what types of content should be captured next (relying on the shared content library for execution).

Track engagement metrics and summarize performance trends weekly.

Collaborate with Strat House and Jess Pies leadership to align visuals and tone with brand goals.

Ideal Candidate

Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.

Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and current social media trends.

Experience using Canva, CapCut, or similar tools for social content.

Excellent communication skills, proactive mindset, and creativity.

Passion for food, storytelling, or small business branding is a plus!

 

Intern will work directly with the Strat House Consulting team and Jess Pies marketing leads.
