Interior and Product Designer

POSITION RESPONSIBILITES

The selected intern will collaborate directly with the design team, contributing to the development and visualization of innovative projects across hospitality, residential, and commercial sectors.

Sample responsibilities that could be assigned based on the intern's skills and dedication:

• Support the design team by reproducing and developing assigned projects through detailed 3D modeling, rendering, and 2D technical drawings.
• Assist in preparing presentations, visual materials, and project documentation for client and internal reviews.
• Contribute to the conceptual and technical development of ongoing projects, ensuring design intent and quality standards are maintained.
• Collaborate with architects, designers, and consultants to coordinate project details and deliverables.
• Learn and apply effective communication and teamwork strategies within a fast-paced professional design environment.

Simone Micheli Architectural Hero is a design company based in Florence, Milan and Dubai, founded by architect Simone Micheli and Roberta Colla. The professional activity is divided into multiple directions from architecture to interior architecture, from design to visual design through communication and event creation. Its creations, sustainable and always attentive to the environment, are characterized by a strong identity and uniqueness. There are numerous creations for public administrations and for important private clients connected to the residential and community world.

On-site Supervision and Support
Our internships include 24/7 on-site staff to support students working and living abroad. All students will also report to a supervisor at their internship site. Supervisors provide and oversee daily tasks, introduce the intern to team members, and mentor the intern in organizational agility, skill acquisition, and career readiness. Interns complete a midpoint and final evaluation, and supervisors complete a final evaluation of their interns. All work responsibilities and projects are approved in advance. 

Academic Credit
Students on an internship have the opportunity to enroll in their home university for credit, or enroll in a course through API to transfer back to their university for credit. Email support-internships@apiexperience.com for more information and a syllabus.

Housing and Excursions
Housing and excursions are included in your internship and will be selectable during the application process.
