About the Role:  

A business analyst Intern at Thaddeus will be responsible for a range of administrative, technical, and professional tasks. This position requires the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, detail-oriented, goal-driven, and capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously. The intern will gain valuable experience in communication, performance, and collaboration with professionals, clients, and outsourced entities.  

This internship is unpaid, but eligible for academic or course credit if approved by your educational institution.  

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Requirement Analysis and Documentation: Conduct thorough requirement analysis by collaborating with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into clear and concise documentation. This documentation will serve as a guideline for project implementation and decision-making processes.
  • Data Collection and Analysis: Gather data from various sources and perform thorough analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights relevant to the organization's goals.
  • Reporting and Presentation: Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies based on data analysis and stakeholder feedback.
  • Project Support: Assist in project management tasks, including creating timelines, tracking milestones, and ensuring project deliverables are met.
  • Solution development and Implementation: Work closely with cross-functional teams to design and propose solutions to identified business needs. Assist in the implementation of approved solutions, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate effectively with staff at all levels, vendors, and potentially, external partners. Facilitate workshops, meetings, or training sessions as needed to support project objectives.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and tools related to business analysis, testing methodologies, and user acceptance testing.
  • Participate in Buddy System: Engage in our buddy system to facilitate a smooth integration into the team and enhance your learning experience through mentorship.

 

Requirements and Qualifications: 

Education: 

  • Recently graduated from or currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Business Analytics, Business Administration, Information Systems, Non-Profit Management, or a related field.
  • Strong academic record (minimum GPA of 3.0 or equivalent).

Skills: 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft office or similar tools
  • Familiarity with project management principles, Methodologies, and tools.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and independently with minimal supervision.
  • Familiarity with non-profit sector stakeholders and operations will be favorably considered.

Time Commitment:  

  • Must be available to work 15 hours per week VIRTUALLY
  • Must be available for the following VIRTUAL weekly meetings:
  • Weekly All Staff Meeting: Tuesdays 9AM - 10AM PST
  • Weekly Development/Operations Meeting: Thursdays 10AM - 12PM PST
  • Must be able to commit to this 6-month internship
