Location: Remote (West Virginia–based students encouraged to apply)

Team: Product/Engineering

Duration: 10–12 weeks | 20 hours per week | Flexible scheduling

About the Role

We’re seeking a Back-End Developer Intern who’s passionate about building scalable, reliable APIs and learning modern cloud-based architecture. You’ll help us develop and maintain our .NET Core services that power our platform.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing RESTful APIs and backend logic using .NET Core / C#.
  • Work with SQL databases (e.g., SQL Server) to design and query data.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to define and integrate API endpoints.
  • Participate in debugging, testing, and code reviews.
  • Learn and follow best practices for clean, maintainable, and secure code.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Basic understanding of C#, .NET Core, and object-oriented programming concepts.
  • Familiarity with relational databases (SQL), REST APIs, and MySQL. 
  • Knowledge of version control (Git/GitHub).
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to Entity Framework, LINQ, or Dapper.
  • Understanding of authentication (JWT, OAuth).
  • Experience with Azure, AWS, or Docker.
