Data Analytics Summer Intern

Job Title: Data Analytics Summer Intern 
 
Department: Data Analytics (Digital) 
 
Role & Responsibilities: The LVMH North America Data Analytics (Digital) department is currently seeking a summer intern interested in coordinating the deployment of local use cases with Maisons including use case framing, implementation support, and performance measurement. The intern will assess the data maturity of US Maisons and help localize their global data roadmaps to be meaningful for the US. Additional responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:  

  • Partner with the Global Data Academy to drive change management and business adoption of data practices by inspiring & upskilling employees through community events & trainings/certifications to accelerate our data transformation. 
  • Support the publication of best practices, playbooks & animation of the local community of Data Activation Experts and Business teams. 
  • Demonstrate thoughtful leadership in artificial intelligence and machine learning applications in marketing & operations activations/optimizations. 
  • Execute and enable regional reporting and analysis. 

Qualifications:  

  • Candidates should be pursuing an MBA or is a recent MBA graduate. 
  • Have experience with both structured and unstructured data, as well as online and offline data. 
  • Have experience in navigating complex organizations. 
  • Have previous work experience in the field of Data & AI, preferable in a retail, fashion, or CPG company. 
  • Have experience communicating with both software engineers/ data scientists and business representatives. 
  • Passion for data-driven decision making and strategic thinking. 
  • Able to explain complex things with simple words, without ever missing the big picture. 
  • You think business and concrete value first, real use cases, for real people, in real conditions. 
  • Results oriented and driven towards concrete deliverables and impact. 
  • Must have exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as exceptional interpersonal skills. 

 

Applicants must have valid authorization to work in the United States. This internship requires being willing and able to relocate to New York for the full duration of the program, and relocation will be the responsibility of the intern. Compensation for this role is fixed and non-negotiable.
