About the Internship
LifeWorks is looking for a Revenue Operations Intern for the Spring 2026 semester. In this role, you’ll assist with prospecting, data cleanup, reporting, and analysis. This internship offers hands-on experience in nonprofit operations, advanced data manipulation, CRM administration, and business intelligence strategy.
This is an ideal role for a detail-oriented individual with strong data proficiency and a systematic approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Integrity & Cleanup: Execute comprehensive data cleaning projects with in the CRM (Neon CRM), including standardization of contact fields, standardize activity fields, creating prospect statuses to ensure single source of truth.
- Reporting & Analysis: Develop and maintain a dashboard withing the CRM to track key performance indicators (KPIs), such as donor retention rates, gift size trends, portfolio management.
- Prospecting & Research Support: Assist frontline fundraisers by conducting wealth screening, identifying new high-potential prospects, based on existing donor profiles, and synthesizing research data for portfolio assignments.
- Process Documentation: Help formalize and document best practice and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for data tagging, activity tracking, and moves management cycle transitions, ensuring team-wide consistency.

Who We’re Looking For
- Current student in Business Analytics, Finance, Computer Science, Economics, or a quantitative social science field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Familiarity with basic database queries.
- A natural curiosity of how systems (databases, software) work together to produce data. Familiarity with a specific nonprofit CRM (e.g., Neon, Salesforce).
- Meticulous attention to detail and an passion for process integrity and data accuracy.
- Proven ability to identify a problem in a data set and work backward to find it’s root cause.
- Prior exposure to nonprofit metrics (e.g., donor retention, lifetime value).
