This internship supports the leadership, structure, and growth of our education and academy initiatives.
Position Overview
The Community, Education, and Academy Leadership Intern supports the planning, coordination, and execution of educational programs, internship academies, coaching initiatives, and community engagement efforts. This role focuses on leadership development, curriculum support, program coordination, and community outreach.
This is an operations, education, and leadership role designed for students interested in sports education, youth development, coaching, program management, or nonprofit-style operations.
Key Responsibilities
Support the coordination and organization of Sports Media Academy programs
Assist with onboarding and engagement of interns, apprentices, and academy participants
Help organize educational content, training materials, and learning pathways
Support leadership and coaching program initiatives
Assist with community outreach and partnership coordination
Help document academy processes, schedules, and participation tracking
Support communication between academy leadership, interns, and departments
Assist with reporting participation, progress, and program outcomes
Required Availability
Interns must be available for core team meetings:
Monday at 9:00 AM MST
Wednesday at 10:00 AM MST
Friday at 8:00 AM MST
SkillBridge participants also meet:
Thursday at 9:00 AM MST
Qualifications
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in:
Education
Sports Management
Leadership Studies
Communications
Human Development
Business Administration
Or a related field
Strong organizational and communication skills
Interest in education, leadership development, coaching, or community programs
Ability to work with diverse groups of students and team members
Comfortable working remotely using digital collaboration tools
Reliable internet connection
Preferred Skills (Not Required)
Experience in coaching, tutoring, mentoring, or student leadership
Familiarity with learning platforms or training programs
Event coordination or program management experience
Interest in youth sports, esports, or educational initiatives
