New York Accounting Internship (PAID*)

New York Accounting Internship Program (Paid)*

The New York Internship Program is a seven-week immersive summer experience that integrates real-world accounting internships with leadership development, professional mentorship, and meaningful Jewish learning—all within a supportive, growth-oriented community. Students gain firsthand exposure to the accounting profession while connecting with accomplished CPAs, finance professionals, and business leaders in the heart of New York's business hub.

Internship Experience
The core of the program is a Monday–Friday internship hosted by respected accounting firms, corporate accounting departments, and financial institutions throughout New York City and Long Island. Internships are structured to provide meaningful participation in accounting operations, audit procedures, and professional growth.

  • Work alongside CPAs, senior accountants, and financial professionals on financial statements, tax preparation, audit procedures, and compliance review
  • Host organizations include Big Four accounting firms, regional accounting practices, corporate accounting departments, and nonprofit financial teams
  • Areas of focus include public accounting, tax accounting, audit, corporate accounting, management accounting, forensic accounting, governmental accounting, nonprofit accounting, and financial reporting
  • *Several internships are paid
  • Select placements may continue after the program concludes

Leadership & Professional Development
Participants build critical professional and technical skills through structured networking and leadership programming.

  • Weekly community mentorship brunches and private dinners with CPAs, controllers, and business leaders
  • Small-group sessions on professional ethics, leadership in accounting, and effective communication in finance
  • Practical guidance on CPA exam preparation, career advancement, networking, and building a meaningful career in accounting

Jewish Learning & Community
The program launches with a one-week offsite leadership and community retreat introducing participants to an immersive Jewish learning experience. Throughout the program, participants engage in weekly learning sessions, four inspiring Shabbat experiences, and guided study sessions that provide opportunities for reflection, connection, and growth. Learning experiences are accessible and engaging for students of all backgrounds.

  • Opening one-week retreat (June 14–21, 2026)
  • Weekly Tuesday and Thursday evening group dinners and discussions
  • Four immersive Shabbat programs with three off-Shabbat weekends
  • One-on-one study and interactive talks exploring themes of integrity, stewardship, and personal development

Community & Premium Housing

Retreat: June 14–21, 2026
Internship: June 21–August 2, 2026

Application Process: Rolling admissions, limited spots
Eligibility: Open to university students nationwide studying accounting, finance, business administration, or related fields
