Data collecting and analysis Local road rating Use of Geographic Information Systems/ArcMap Gain understanding of long-range planning Gain understanding of Asset Management Assist in preparing reports and presentations for stakeholders

May assist with Engineering projects, collecting data

Qualifications: Majors:

Transportation or Urban Planning Public Administration (varies by school) Planning and Landscape architecture

Geography or related field Qualifications: Coursework in Planning, mapping, and data analysis Proficient in Microsoft Suite, ArcMap or similar GIS, and database management Excellent written and verbal communication skills Detail oriented with good time management skills Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
