Raymond James Insurance Solutions provides protective planning solutions through guidance, resources, and products that help financial advisors engage in holistic wealth management with their clients.  

 

Job Summary 

As a Summer Associate in Annuity Distribution, you will support all three levels of our team: annuity product specialists, internal consultants, and external consultants. You will be highly engaged in daily activities such as conducting annuity reviews, creating illustrations and marketing materials, and preparing annuity book reports. This role offers a comprehensive view of annuity distribution across industry, broker/dealer, and independent channels. You will gain insight into Raymond James’ values, purpose, and culture while deepening your knowledge of annuity products and positioning. Through hands-on experience, you will explore case planning strategies designed to meet individual client goals—building skills that will serve you throughout your career. 

 

The summer associate position is a temporary role. 

 

Start Date: Monday, June 1, 2026 

End Date: Friday, August 7, 2026 

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, up to 40 hours per week. 

 

Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Using client specific information, generate illustrations and marketing materials 
  • Perform analysis on individual annuity contracts  
  • Call shadow with associates to gain insight into advisor-client cases and resultant solutions 
  • Generate full advisor annuity book of business reports 
  • Utilize various annuity tools/calculators to assist team members on specific cases 
  • Research case escalations with manager and product manager 
  • Collaborate with other team members within the department to assist with specific cases 
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Educational/Previous Experience Requirements 

  • Freshman or Sophomore standing (December 2027-May 2029 graduates) pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field.  
  • Any equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training approved by Human Resources. 
  • Eligible applicants must be legally authorized to work in the US and not require visa sponsorship now or in the future (including beyond OPT/EAD).
