Department Overview 

The Raymond James Insurance Solutions operations group is responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of all annuity transactions at Raymond James.  Our team oversees end-to-end operational workflows, including transaction processing, account maintenance and client service support.  

 

Job Summary 

The summer associate will support the full lifecycle of annuity transactions, including new business processing, contract maintenance, and service requests. They will ensure accuracy and compliance while delivering exceptional service to advisors and clients. Additionally, the summer associate will collaborate with internal teams and external carriers to resolve issues, research discrepancies, and provide timely solutions. They will utilize operational systems to process transactions efficiently and meet established service level agreements. The role will also contribute to process improvements and assist with special projects as needed. 

 

The summer associate position is a temporary role. 

 

Start Date: Monday, June 1, 2026 

End Date: Friday, August 7, 2026 

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, up to 40 hours per week. 

 

Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Analyze operational workflows 
  • Assist with Process documentation 
  • Support Data Quality and Reconciliation of new business 
  • Attend project & strategy meetings with operational leaders and team  
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Educational/Previous Experience Requirements 

  • Freshman or Sophomore standing (December 2027-May 2029 graduates) pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field.  
  • Any equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training approved by Human Resources. 
  • Eligible applicants must be legally authorized to work in the US and not require visa sponsorship now or in the future (including beyond OPT/EAD).
