Summer Operations Internship

National Bank Capital Markets offers a complete suite of products and services to corporations, institutional clients, and public-sector entities. We devote our energies to deliver comprehensive advisory services and research or capital markets solutions to support our clients in achieving their goals and growth.
The NY Operations team covers several functions including, Operations Management, Risk Oversight, Compliance Oversight, Operations Controls and Run the Bank Operations. Our US business is positioned for rapid growth in view of new business opportunities already in motion for the year and with it, the business is working hard to meet additional supervision and regulatory controls requirements.
Our Program:
Our internship program offers dynamic hands-on experience working alongside seasoned professionals and assisting members of the team in executing their responsibilities.
Responsibilities may include but not limited to:
Gain insight and exposure to both NBCFI (FINRA regulated) & NY Branch (FED/DFS regulated) activities, exposure to multiple businesses and products in both Fixed Income and Equities space, gain knowledge of changing regulatory risk and other industry rules requirements that impact our entities, assist with ongoing regulatory audits, be at the forefront of bank initiatives through new products, interaction with external vendors via vendor management duties, working with different databases and excel spreadsheets.
Qualifications:
Applicants to this role should be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Business, Finance, Accounting, IT or related discipline, graduating at the earliest in December 2026 and must be eligible to work in the US without visa sponsorship.

- Ability to work out of our NY office from June to August.
- Expectation to work 40 hours per week, unless determined otherwise by manager.
This is on-site role and you must be able to commute to NYC office.
