About the Internship

As an Evergreen & Oak intern, you’ll work hand-in-hand with the partners and team to create client-ready deliverables. You’ll learn more about the PR industry in a startup environment where you’ll be able to touch a wide variety of communications projects. 

$15 per hour 

12-15 hour weekly commitment for 3 months

Responsibilities 

Research and build press lists 

Create briefing sheets to prepare clients for media interviews 

Draft media pitches 

Draft press releases 

Proofread and edit written materials for AP Style, grammar, etc. 

Draft speaker and award submissions 

Create KPI reports, competitive reviews and other presentations 

Communicate regularly with the team on bandwidth and status of projects 

Post on social channels 

Qualifications 

Proactive self-starter 

Works well with others and communicates effectively 

Manages time and numerous projects simultaneously

Adheres to deadlines 

Thinks critically about assignments based on research and situation analysis 

Generate, share and follow through on creative ideas
