Program Overview
NewYork‑Presbyterian (NYP) is seeking a motivated undergraduate intern to join our Development Office for Summer 2026. This internship provides hands‑on exposure to the backend operations that support fundraising and development initiatives within a leading healthcare organization.
The role is primarily administrative and operational, offering meaningful experience in data management, research, and project support. This is an excellent opportunity for students interested in exploring non-profit careers and learning how development functions within a large, mission‑driven institution.
Key Responsibilities
Provide administrative support to the fundraising operations team
Assist with data entry, tracking, and basic analytics
Support research projects and ad‑hoc reporting
Help with organizing documentation, spreadsheets, and presentations
Contribute to short‑term and project‑based initiatives throughout the summer
This exciting internship opportunity will take place from June 1 - August 7, 2026 on site in New York, NY.
Required Criteria:
Currently enrolled at the Sophomore or Junior level for Spring 2026 Semester
Knowledge of computers and various Microsoft office applications, including Excel
Interest in Healthcare or non-profit management
Ability to work independently
Good organizational and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical skills
