AI Quality Analyst - Finance

Terminal X is hiring part-time AI Quality Analysts to help ensure our AI delivers accurate insights to top financial institutions.

 

  • What you'll do: Validate that our AI correctly retrieves and synthesizes financial data—checking numbers, tracing sources, and catching errors that could impact million-dollar decisions. This is high-stakes work. You will see firsthand how institutional investors use AI to make investment decisions, and your work directly impacts the reliability of insights they depend on.

AI Quality Analyst

You'll be responsible for quality control on Terminal X's AI-generated content. This means:

  • Reviewing user questions submitted by institutional investors and other AI-generated output
  • Reading source documents (SEC filings, earnings transcripts, research reports, internal memos, financial models) to verify accuracy
  • Ensuring numbers, facts, and insights in AI responses correctly tie out to original sources
  • Flagging issues to the Product team to improve prompt engineering and system performance
  • Documenting findings and patterns to help scale our quality processes

 

Who You Are

  • Current undergraduate or graduate student in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field
  • Strong understanding of corporate finance and investing concepts
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and ability to trace data back to sources
  • Familiarity with financial modeling and data analysis in Excel
  • Prior internship experience in investment banking, asset management, or related fields
  • Experience using AI tools for translation, research, or data analysis
  • Bonus Point if: Fluent in Asian languages (e.g. reading/writing Japanese, Korean, Chinese)

Compensation & Logistics

  • $25–$50/hr (based on experience level, performance)
  • 100% remote (flexible)
  • Weekly check-ins with the Product team
  • Work on your own schedule as long as you meet deadlines
