Event Sales Assistant

Cocktails Catering is looking for a sales assistant for our Director of Sales. This person must be friendly, open minded and ready to learn! This job is great for someone with little or no hospitality experience who is looking to get their feet wet and learn about this fast-paced industry. This can be used for internship credit while taking in the experience of a lifetime. The position will be 4 days a week from 9 am until 6pm. 

General Responsibilities to include:

- filter qualified lead using the knot and wedding wire

- prospect and lead generation follow up

-menu card creation

- set & confirm a variety of appointments

- assist in daily task to ensure schedules stay on the right track

- collect and process payments

-create timeline and floor plans for clients

-confirm outside vendor documents and specific event details
