The Playfair Experience
This remote internship is designed for students who want to understand how a real business operates behind the scenes—from client experience and operations to marketing, systems, and strategy.
Interns are active contributors in a fast-growing small business, working on meaningful projects that support day-to-day operations while developing highly transferable professional skills.
This role is not limited to finance or accounting majors. Students interested in business operations, administration, marketing, communications, HR, project management, entrepreneurship, or financial planning are encouraged to apply.
What You’ll Learn & Experience
- How a professional services firm runs day to day
- Business operations, workflow documentation, and process improvement
- Client experience and service coordination
- Marketing support, communications, and brand organization
- Exposure to financial planning concepts, including:
- Cash flow and debt management
- Investment and retirement planning
- Tax and estate strategy (exposure-based)
You’ll receive structured onboarding, ongoing guidance, and mentorship to help you integrate quickly and confidently.
Potential Responsibilities
- Support project-based work across operations, administration, marketing, and client service
- Document workflows and contribute to internal knowledge systems
- Participate in team meetings and present research, insights, or improvements
- Explore internship focus areas such as:
- Client Experience & Operations
- Marketing & Communications
- Business Administration & Project Support
- Investment Research (optional exposure)
- HR & Culture
- Assist with CEO-led special projects, including Learning Design and AI & Automation initiatives
